SMES COMPETENCY ENHANCEMENT PROGRAM

Firstly, KCCI organized a SME business delegation to visit ASEAN's high-tech industrial sites and seek economic cooperation in Singapore and Thailand from July 3rd to July 7th, 2017. The delegation was composed of representatives of twenty companies from Korea and Six ASEAN countries, and the range of industries included IT, finance and manufacturing sectors.

SECTORAL BOARDS

As an attempt to share the issues and enhance cooperation in the same industry between Korea and ASEAN countries, two sectoral boards were initiated as test cases during 2017. Steel industry was proposed by the Korean side, and healthcare industry by the ASEAN side.
