2016

The 3rd ASEAN-ROK Business Council discussed exchange and cooperation program between Korea-ASEAN SMEs. To this end, KCCI has developed and proposed ASEAN-ROK Business Council operation programs which should be implemented in year 2017.

The 3rd ASEAN-ROK Business Council Meeting consisted of 4 sessions: two lecture sessions and two opinion sessions.

The two lecture sessions each covered SMEs Cooperation and Synergy at the Global Value Chain between Korea and ASEAN region; and a new dimension to facilitate trade - Global Halal Data Pool (GHDP) and its linkages. The other two opinion sessions were each led by KCCI and ASEAN-Korea Center. KCCI proposed ways of enhancing ASEAN-Korea private sector cooperation while ASEAN-Korea Center dealt with practical contribution to ASEAN MSMEs.
